John was born & raised in Washington, DC, literally growing up around the real estate business. This local insight and knowledge of both the real estate industry and Washington's diverse neighborhoods endows him with a unique ability to find his clients, whether renters new to town or seasoned buyers, their ideal home. He specializes in creating specific marketing plans that ensure each property its full exposure. John is known for creativity, diligence, excellent people skills and a passion for Washington real estate; as buyers, sellers & renters who have worked with John will attest, he provides his clients with a superior level of service.
 
Prior to joining Cathie Gill, Inc., John worked as a residential real estate agent in Santa Barbara, California. He also worked for Madison Retail Group, the William Morris Agency, NBC and ran his own film and television production company. He resides in Georgetown and holds a BA in English from Tulane University in New Orleans, LA. A portion of every sale & rental goes to support DC Prep, a public charter elementary and middle school based in Northeast Washington.
