My primary asset in helping people find a home is the fact that I have lived in the Washington area since the 1960's. (How many administration changes in that?) As the political parties have come to town and then left after being voted out of office, I have remained right here in the heart of the Nation's capital!
Whether buyers are coming to town or sellers are leaving, I can assist them in relocating, as my knowledge of the market and the area is so extensive. Of course, many homeowners get "Potomac Fever" and just want to exchange one house for another; I can, and do, help them as well.
Working in a structured manner to determine what a buyer or seller REALLY wants, I feel that I LISTEN, one of the first rules of human interaction. I like to read between the lines when someone is telling me what he is looking for. Often, by doing that, I can ascertain a need that he doesn't even realize he is expressing to me. That leads to satisfied customers!
Seeing families move into their first home or being on hand when "empty nesters" leave the "big house" gives me sense of facilitating life changes that would be traumatic or perhaps less fun without me. I really care where my clients live and what they buy and sell. I want them to be happy after our transaction is over.
My time at an earlier point in life was spend in a classroom teaching English; that experience taught me patience; somehow I learned that education doesn't occur overnight; thus few houses sell overnight (even though in the recent market properties sold even before they came on the market!), and I am willing to persist with buyers for years, is it takes that long to educate them in their search for the right home.
Having been in real estate for eighteen years, I have consistently received awards as "Top Producer" and keep a file of names of people who say to me, "June, when we buy or sell, we want you to help us, as we've heard from so many of your satisfied customers express their gratitude for your efforts in their behalf." That vote of confidence is the best award a businessperson in my field can receive.
Living in Washington DC is exciting and rewarding; regardless of who is in the White House, I will be here eager to move you into YOUR HOUSE. Give me a call!
